Andrea is a sought-after consultant, coach, published author, news contributor and speaker. Her areas of expertise include career transition/outplacement, leadership development, change management, employee engagement, and inclusive practices and leadership. For the past 25 years she has significantly contributed to the success of six startups and organizations in the public and private sector. As a Certified Diversity Search Professional (CDSP) and LinkedIn Subject Matter Expert (SME) she has been featured on national stages for organizations like AARP, Diversity Woman Media, Urban League, National Football League (NFL), Unlimited Fighting Championship (UFC), ABC, CBS, and more. 

For more than two decades she’s earned a reputation as a business strategist, entrepreneur and good corporate citizen. Andrea is the founder of two successful companies: Unique Transport LLC and Unique Transport 2 LLC – a duo of minority and woman-owned trucking companies; and the sole proprietor of Grant Consulting Group LLC – a career management and inclusive practices consulting firm. In 2008, she also founded CCAA Events, a six-figure event and entertainment management business that catered to high-profile clients including professional athletes and politicians. 

For more than 15 years she has been a Diversity, Inclusion, Equity, Belonging, Accessibility and Justice (DEIBAJ) practitioner serving stakeholders at Capital One, LHH/Adecco, Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc. and HRSI, an HRCI company. 

Andrea is a devoted special needs parent and was the caretaker to her disabled veteran father for many years until he passed. “Giving back” to others is at the core of her being. She has often donated her time and expertise to organizations such as Adecco’s National Global Corporate Social Responsibility Council, LHH’s Global Diversity Councils, the Human Resource Leadership Awards of Greater Washington (HRLA), Prince William Chamber and Northern Virginia Chamber. Moreover, she is an inaugural founder and member of Capital One’s Magellan Program, a customized leadership development and career program for the African American Employee Resource Group (ERG). 

She has a myriad of Board experience including Vice President of Administration for the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR) Greater Baltimore Chapter and ID&E Co-Lead and Workforce Readiness Lead for Maryland State Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). Her celebrity golf tournament, celebrity toy drive and other attention-grabbing community events has earned tens of thousands of dollars and more over the past fifteen years.
